On the Japanese side of things, an expansion pass has been announced to add new content to Pioneers of Olive Town! There’s a lot of interesting new details from this pack, such as some outfits being listed for your romance partner as well as the player! The full list of DLC is as follows:

- Romance Candidate Pack: Windy Lakeshore, featuring four characters from A New Beginning, with two as new candidates as well as a new area.

Planned Release Date: June 24th, 2021
- Romance Candidate Pack: Red Clay Oasis, featuring four characters from Story of Seasons, with two as new candidates as well as a new area.
Planned Release Date: July 29th, 2021

- Mini Scenario: Legendary Earth Sprite Dance
Planned Release Date: August 26th, 2021
- Romance Candidate Pack: Twilight Island, featuring four characters from Trio of Towns, with two as new candidates as well as a new area.
All dates correspond to the currently listed Japanese release dates, so it may take a little bit before they’re ready for other parts of the world.
Notably, the new candidates won’t be able to be dressed up in the DLC outfits and that parts of the pass may be sold individually at a later date. Though that doesn’t necessarily mean that will apply to regions outside Japan as the DLC plan has not been announced anywhere else yet. The “Mini Scenarios” will add new events, outfits, and quests and all player outfits can be worn regardless of gender.
So what kind of outfits and characters do you hope to see in the new DLC? I’m hoping Yuri makes it in the Windy Lakeshore pack myself! Though I definitely wish there were some candidates from some much older games… and a Sara outfit for us Gameboy-era fans! Still, this is a really big surprise, and the amount of new content is going to be staggering.
