Before the mountain bridge is built in the first winter she still manages to climb her way up to meet the old couple at their dumpling restaurant, and is willing to go to dangerous lengths for a rare flower. She’s certainly Basil’s daughter alright... far from being simply “the flower girl,” Popuri could be a flower adventurer!

Karen is a brash, sharp tongued young woman who’s probably most infamously known for her unquenchable thirst for liquor, which she seems to take to any time she’s being put into a bad mood... which is basically every day

When she’s not holed up in her library, she could be found teaching the local kids about insects, cooking fish with Elli, or exploring Moon Mountain on her own. In time, she’ll become just as friendly with the player, even overcoming her fear of dogs and attending the Dog Race festival for the first time just to cheer yours on.

Elli works the bakery alongside Jeff, her potential future spouse, and is largely cared for by her maternal grandmother, Ellen, who’s the same Ellen as the original Super Nintendo game.

His original design came from 64, where he was Eve's (from the SNES game) grandson, but he took more of his personal beliefs from his great great grandfather.
